About Liz

Dr. Elisabeth Davis DACM, LAc. is a licensed acupuncturist and doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She graduated from Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, California where she had the honor of interning with veterans, homeless youth and adults, and children at Rady's Hospital.

In 2007, she graduated from NYUs masters’ program in Drama Therapy. She has worked with many different populations since including:

Pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric inpatient as well as outpatient psychiatry, autism, addiction, MICA, PTSD, schizophrenia, mood disorders, personality disorders, people living with HIV-AIDS, homeless children and adults, children living with physical disabilities and developmental delays, LGBQIA+ youth and adults, veterans, formerly incarcerated youth and adults, prisoners, geriatrics, and persons living with terminal diagnoses.

Her background in creative arts therapy and psychotherapy makes Liz especially well suited to work deeply with individuals. She is well versed in the language of both emotional and physiological disorders, and is a gentle guide in helping patients navigate towards pain relief, optimal health, and wellbeing. Her acupuncture practice blends therapeutic listening and empathic support while integrating evidence based care and current biomedical research. She is committed to each individual patient and engages with each person’s signature energy, or qi, to allow for acquisition of insight, physical relief and renewal.
