FAQs

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine based on ancient, traditional Chinese methods of healing. It is used to treat many ailments, including back pain, headaches, arthritis, and much more.

Using ultra-thin needles along energy pathways in the body, acupuncture promotes healing by improving the flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body.

Along with acupuncture, Golden Spiral provides services including cupping, tui na, (a form of Chinese medical massage), gua sha, herbal therapy, psychotherapy, creative arts therapy, counseling, energy work, and individualized dietary consultation.
